More FAQs- Can I strip floors with urethane finish?

- Will there be an odour?
Urethane is strippable, if necessary. However, when the product reaches the end of its life cycle, it can be abraded and recoated without stripping. ServiceMaster Clean Of Durham & Scarborough has products and procedures designed specifically for this purpose.
Acrylic does have an odour during application, but it is generally mild and usually dissipates within a short period of time.
Depending on the type of upholstery, you may notice a faint scent. The amount of time it takes for the odour to dissipate is usually within an hour but varies based on air circulation, heat and humidity.
