FAQs
More FAQs- Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
- Is drying and curing the same thing?
- Are there instructions to follow after my hard-surface floors are cleaned?
A contract is not a requirement. ServiceMaster Clean Of Durham & Scarborough will develop a detailed proposal and task schedule that will both meet your needs and budget. At any time, you can make adjustments to your cleaning requirements, and your representative will then make changes as needed and advise of any pricing revisions. You may also cancel your commercial cleaning service with 30 days written notice
No. Drying means that the surface layer is no longer wet or damp to the touch. Curing, on the other hand, means that urethane has reached its maximum hardness thereby providing the necessary protection of your flooring.
Before you walk on your floors, it’s best to allow a minimum drying time of at least 1 hour. We recommend allowing 24 hours before walking on it with heavy traffic. Be cautious and protect floors from getting wet for 24 hours after application of either finish as it is not thoroughly cured yet. You can return furniture to your floors (with suggested use of felt pads) after 12 hours and return rugs to floors after 12 hours.
